In this IO arena, we continue to search for additional treatments that can further benefit patients. Generally, IO has been focused on harnessing the anti-tumour activity of certain cancer-fighting T-cells , a key cell type involved in the adaptive immune defense system. Efficacy at tolerated doses so far has been disappointing.
