Thalidomide dwindled CRC cell migration and invasion. HOXB7 upregulation was detected in CRC cells, which promoted CRC cell migration, invasion, and β-catenin expression. Also, HOXB7 upregulation abrogated the effects of thalidomide on CRC cells. Collectively, thalidomide inhibits migration and invasion of CRC cells, which is achieved by suppressing HOXB7-mediated activation of Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway.
