We used an integrative methods to investigate and elucidate the molecular mechanism of Chaiqin Qingning capsule (CQQNC) in the treatment of fever. We found that CQQNC possibly inhibited the synthesis and secretion of PGE2 to exert its antipyretic effects and the in vitro study has confirmed our findings.
