This study revealed that dihydromyricetin (DHM) could inhibit hepatic stellate cell activation and ECM deposition in vitro. Through network pharmacology prediction and in vitro cell experiments verification, it was evidenced that DHM protected against liver fibrosis by acting on the MMP2, PDGFRB, PARP1, CYP2E1, SQSTM1, IL6, and ABCB1 genes and their downstream signaling pathways, including the mTOR and MAPK signaling pathways.
